Place used automobile batteries as indicated at the Public Works Recycling facility. May be dropped off at the Public Works Recycling Center. Keep recycling! The more we recycle, the more grant money the Borough is entitled to! Money issued is based on the amount of recyclables a municipality recycles. The grant is issued each year to all municipalities in New Jersey submitting a tonnage grant application. The bags are being purchased utilizing grant funds supplied by the Department of Environmental Protection. ![]() The plastic bags will be recycled through Trex. However, you are still welcome to bring your plastic bags to be recycled. A maximum of two cloth bags per household will be given out for this program.
